Day 16 A relaxing day

We woke at sunrise, as we have done all holiday and after a cuppa and applying a good dolop of suncream as the sun is seriously strong all day, we left our bungalow, on the right hand side of this photo, there are three separate units in each building.

Walked along the causeway, there is a very frequent electric cart " bus service" if you don't fancy the walk!

Towards The Palace end of the island

and had a wander with some stunning vistas

Past the swimming pool with one of the resident birds

on around the end of the island 

to breakfast with another glorious view

After which we wandered back to our bungalow along a shady path

before emerging back into the searing sunshine on the causeway.

We spent the morning snorkelling on the other side of the island, not very successfully as the water was very churned up. Folowed by a dip in the pool and a drink sat up at the pool bar.

Lunch back at the Palace side was an incredible buffet and after a siesta we tied snorkelling off our steps which proved far more sucessful. No fish photos until Neil has got them from the GoPro though!

A late afternoon swim, pre dinner drink and dinner at the Steak House rounded off  lovely day
